Hidden in drawers or long-forgotten albums, we all have photographs from our past, or that of our relatives.  Some need restoring, others just turning into digital images so that they can be shared around online.  Most can be fully restored or, as in this case, if a piece is too badly damaged, then a face from another photograph can be used to replace it. If you bring a picture to us for restoration, we will always be honest and tell you how good it will look afterwards.  If we do not believe we can do it, we will say so.

When it comes to scanning in prints, transparencies (slides) or negatives there are plenty of choices.  In order to show that these are genuine, we have scanned in the negatives as themselves, with the scanner set to convert them to positives in the accompanying set.

You can have individual negatives scanned, or strips as you see here. With transparencies, you will have a jpeg file of the picture at a size of your choosing.

When you commission us to copy any images, we will ask you to fill in the form below to confirm that ou own the copyright of those images.

As far as cost goes, we would have to see either the photographs you want restoring, or the quantity of images you want scanning as well as the size of the resulting jpegs, before we could quote you a price.
