Have you acquired a marvellous new camera but are baffled as to how to use it?  Or you know all the gadgets on it but want to be able to take better photographs.  You may be off on the holiday of your dreams and don't want to waste the opportunities that will present themselves.  This is where we come in.  We offer you the chance to take advantage of the many years we have been professional photographers and are happy to meet up with you and show you just how to improve the pictures you take or enable you to get to grips with all the settings that modern digital cameras offer.  Alternatively, if you are wanting to go back to the days of film, I was earning a living using that long before digital devices were even thought of.  Either way, if you book a session with us, you will have our undivided attention as we prefer to work with individuals or couples rather than groups.  Half a day, preferably in the afternoon  (about 4 hours, but we won't be watching the clock if it goes on a bit longer!) is £120.  Experience has shown us that more than 4 hours at a time tends to make it difficult to retain the information.

We will only advise on using cameras, NOT phones.  Nor will we teach what to do with computer software to work on the resulting pictures: there are too many different programmes.  However, no matter what make or age of camera, using it correctly to take the best pictures is something which has not changed, in essence, since the earliest days. The devices used to capture the moment may develop; the governing principles remain.

If you would like to consider booking a session, please fill in the form to help us ascertain what you already know and what you would like to learn.  There is no point in our merely reinforcing what you are confident with: far better to tailor each session personally.

At the end of the session, you will be given a signed, complimentary copy of 'Overexposure', part one of my' autobiography, dedicated to whomever has made the booking or a designated third party.
